KONE South-East Asia
KONE SEA ramp-up

“Brave Alliance was instrumental in setting up KONE Southeast Asia (KSEA) as a new Frontline for KONE. This significant milestone could not have been achieved so efficiently without the support of Brave Alliance.
Upon receiving a greenlight from the KONE Board to proceed with the KSEA set-up in late 2022, Meiju Sundelin from Brave Alliance was engaged almost immediately to support me with this project. KSEA went live successfully in mid-April 2023.
Prior to the set-up, KONE in Southeast Asia consisted of 6 different Frontlines with different organization structures, operating processes and practices. It clearly required a huge Change Management exercise to merge all 6 countries into one KSEA cluster, not just in terms of organization structures and process changes but most importantly a change in mindset across the countries.
Meiju played a significant role in harmonizing our organization blueprints in super quick time. She worked relentlessly in gaining fast understanding of our intended/future ways of working (in alignment with the Global Blueprint), taking into consideration our key criteria: Empowerment, Trust, Speed, Lean, Efficiency and Customer Centricity. However, where I truly appreciated Meiju’s support was in her rich Change Management experience. Though the change was challenging at the beginning, the journey was absolutely rewarding. We were committed to working through the challenges and embracing a new way of working. This was especially important as I needed to lead this team under the new set-up. Hence, maintaining and sustaining trust between this new leadership team and me was absolutely crucial.
We can already witness the synergies and benefits of this new Frontline even though we have yet to celebrate our 1st birthday. We would not have reached this significant milestone, already yielding positive results without her support. It has been a great privilege working with Meiju.”
